"Super easy support experience"
I had a question about my course login and wasn’t even sure who I was supposed to contact. The customer service team got back to me quickly and sorted it out without making it a whole thing. They explained everything in a simple way, which was great because some login stuff can get ridiculous for no reason. Really easy to deal with and I’m happy with the support so far.

I ended up using the finance option because paying all at once just wasn’t realistic for me. It made the course feel much more affordable, kind of like when I’ve split up bigger expenses before. The payments were easy enough to understand, though getting everything set up took a little longer than I expected. Still, I’m glad the option was there.

I had to cancel my course soon after signing up, and I was expecting it to turn into a bit of a headache. But to be fair, learndirect dealt with it in a really decent way and didn’t make me feel awkward for needing to cancel.
They explained the refund clearly, stuck to the timeframe they gave me, and I didn’t have to keep chasing anyone. It was just polite, straightforward help, which is all you can really ask for.

I really liked that I could study after work and just pause whenever life got hectic. I don’t have the patience for programs that make you be online at exact times, so not having that pressure was a huge relief. It ended up taking me longer than I expected, but that was totally fine.

I’ve had a really good experience with learndirect so far. I’ll be honest, I did wonder at first if the course would be made awkward on purpose or if support would be a bit vague so you’d have to chase things, but it hasn’t been like that at all. The lessons are easy enough to follow and I can fit them around work, which makes a big difference. My assignment feedback has been clear and fair too. My tutor pointed out what I’d done well and what needed fixing, but it didn’t feel harsh or discouraging. It’s actually made me feel more confident going into the next units. I’d happily give 5 stars.

I’ll be honest, I was a bit suspicious at first because I wasn’t sure how good an online course would actually be, but my experience with learndirect turned out positive. The lessons were clear and easy enough to follow, and I liked being able to study whenever it fit around my day. It took me a little while to figure out the online system, which did make me wonder if I’d made the right choice, but support got back to me quickly and helped sort things out. Overall, I’m really happy with it and I’d probably use them again

My tutor has been a big help whenever I’ve gotten stuck. The replies have been quick, and they explain things in a way that actually makes sense to me, which is always a relief. It’s made the course feel a lot less stressful, especially when I’m second-guessing myself on assignments, which happens more than I’d like to admit. I did my course with learndirect mainly because I needed a recognised qualification for work, and to be fair, it was accepted without any problems, so that part did what it was supposed to do. The course was mostly easy enough to follow, although a few sections took longer than I expected, which was fun in the way only online coursework can be. Support did reply when I contacted them, not exactly at lightning speed, but they got there in the end. Overall, it was a good experience and I got what I needed, even if a few bits could definitely be made smoother.

I had a good experience with learndirect. I tend to focus on the things that actually matter to me and tune out the extra fluff, and the staff made that really easy. They were professional, friendly, and answered my questions clearly without overcomplicating anything. I never felt rushed, and it genuinely seemed like they cared about helping me.

"No access to course materials and terrible customer service"

I have had terrible issues with Learn Direct. They advertise that their Access to Higher Education diplomas can be completed in any length of time (no minimum), and that the study materials will be available from day One. This is absolutely not the case. I enrolled on the AHE in Engineering in November 2024 and still, they have not uploaded the content for my course. There has been no reason provided, and customer service are not at all helpful. After I complained, all I received is a complaint resolution email saying please be patient while we update our course content. I’m sorry, but after almost 4 months of waiting, I should be able to make progress on my course. It’s simply shocking that an organisation like this can even operate in 2025. I cannot possibly recommend them.
